Is it possible to change the default wifi ssid, passkey and or the ip it uses? is there a manual? nothing in package about documentation.

That our current product version has not yet opened these features.
If you want to customize in large quantities, our products can change these.
These features are not currently available for non-customization.

iCar Pro4.0 Can it connect to infrastructure network? for example to a cellphone hotspot, so I can have the adapter connected and internet at the same

Our products can not connect the adapter and internet at the same time.
After the mobile phone WiFi hotspot is connected to the product, it is not possible to access the Internet.
You need to disconnect to reconnect to the network.

Do you have to pay any monthly fee if your just using to code on bimmercode?

We never ask consumers to purchase monthly or annual subscriptions for our products.
What you call subscription fees are the costs of certain apps.
We only sell product hardware, excluding the development of third-party applications, and there is no so-called subscription fee. Therefore, you can purchase apps without subscription fees according to your needs.
Regarding some of the APPs mentioned in the manual, we just provide it to consumers for reference. There is no mandatory requirement that they must be used or purchased.
Our products are suitable for most apps on the market.

Is it safe to leave the OBD2 iCar pro plugged all the time in the obd port?

We do not recommend doing it.
Please remove it when not in use.

What chipset does vLinker MC+ use?

Our product is the V-LINK01 chip, which is developed by Vgate for high-end OBD applications.

What is the difference between vLinker MC3.0 and 4.0?

Vgate vLinker MC Bluetooth 3.0 is only available for Android and Windows systems.
The Vgate vLinker MC + Bluetooth 4.0 is based on Bluetooth 3.0 (Android and Windows) and is also suitable for iOS systems.

This is the difference between these two models. You can choose the suitable product model according to your needs.

vLinker MC+ Does it delete bmw error warning and flickering LED?

OBD2 is just the Bluetooth connector. Deleting error codes depends on the scanner software.

Which vehicles are iCar and vLinker products suitable for?

Our products are applicable to 12V petrol vehicles compatible with standard OBD2 protocols after 1996, 12V small diesel vehicles with a load of 6.5T or less supporting the OBD2 protocols after 1996. Do not use on a 24V power diesel car.

If your vehicle model meets the above conditions, our products can be used.
